in our latest small heatwave it seems there have always been between three and five of the farm's honey bees drinking water out of our birdbath. It's common practice for me stand with quiet patience for several minutes until they've finished and only then do I dump out, clean and refill the bath.

In the later afternoon I entertained two guests in the shade of the maple tree in our front yard. The company and conversation shifted some things for me that have been waiting to slide into a more authentic groove Within for several weeks now.
